172-572 Delco GM Combination Valve Disc/Drum Brass; Exact Copy of Original Brake Proportioning Valve
Works on nearly all GM cars and trucks that have disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in rear.
If your valve has four brake lines that tie into the valve in the locations shown below, chances are our valve will bolt into place.
Our 172-572 proportioning valve will work as left mount, right mount or bottom mount. The 172-572 combination/prop valve has four connections.
It has a 9/16"-18 connection for Rear Brakes & one 3/8"-24 port for the front brakes.
The connections from the Master Cylinder are 1/2"-20 and 7/16"-24.
This valve comes with a 1 year warranty.
The 172-572 Proportioning Valve allows proper fluid transfer and contains a residual pressure valve for proper braking.
