Volant has introduced a cold air intake system for the 2007–08 Jeep Wrangler and Rubicon. The intake (P/N 17638) uses Volant's Primo five-layer filter. The sealed cold air box protects the filter from moisture, heat and dirt, allowing for cooler air to enter the engine and produce more power. The cold air intake system is also designed to use an optional PeriScoop air snorkel to handle deeper water crossings and collect cool air from the top of the vehicle's roof.
