These filters are superior to other filters in many ways.

Green utilizes a woven cotton versus a cotton gauze for improved wear, and better filtering capabilities. This method allows Green to use 2 layers of media instead of 4-7 layers like other brands. This increases air flow without compromising its filtering ability. Another benefit to the 2 layer design is the ability for the oil to be applied more evenly across all of the filter media, resulting in better filtering.

Green also uses stainless steel mesh for stronger support of the filet. An often overlooked fact is that Green uses special machinery to module the rubber filter ends. This machinery allows them to use less media resulting in more filter surface area and more airflow.
